Excellent, as pictured. The moonstones have minor natural silk inclusions and some very minor surface nibbles under 10x loope, please see the images provided.

Hallmarks:
Fully Hallmarked for 18ct gold Chester 1892.

Antique jewellery (ie. Georgian/ Victorian) was often not hallmarked, as compulsory hallmarking of all precious metals did not begin until the 1920’s, only becoming law in 1973. Consequently assay offices carry a pre-1950’s exemption from hallmarking. This means that any piece pre-dating the 1950’s that is not hallmarked is exempt from the normal requirements of the assay office.
