Found within this beautifully designed antique, 18ct gold ring are three large flat cut Amethysts of amazing quality inter-spaced by four fiery opals. The band features beautiful scroll work to either side, the style of the ring is indicative of the art nouveau/ arts & crafts movements.
A superbly designed, well made ring.
This gorgeous piece would be a wonderful addition to any antique jewellery collection.

Consequently assay offices carry a pre-1950’s exemption from hallmarking. This means that any piece pre-dating the 1950’s that is not hallmarked is exempt from the normal requirements of the assay office.
